In Followers Kids, our vision is to provide a place where kids feel safe, have fun and experience the incredible, infinite love of God, while learning what is means to be a FOLLOWER.

Parents and caretakers carry the primary responsibility for their children’s spiritual growth. 

At Followers, we strive to partner with parents in that journey by providing a safe, welcoming and fun environment for kids to build community and learn about Jesus, while their parents/caretakers grow in their own faith by attending service and/or serving. 

We also use a dynamic ministry curriculum that includes lots of extras to help parents and caretakers engage in Bible-based conversations and teaching at home, and provide a kids’ version of the weekly, sermon-based life lesson. 

KEEPING KIDS SAFE AND LOVED  

All adult volunteers submit to a background check before serving and every 3 years after that. In addition, we use a secure check-in/check-out process. Check-in is located in the main lobby – you can’t miss it! If you’re new, you can complete our New Family Registration form before your first visit to speed things up at check-in. Regular attenders and pre-registered families can use the ChurchCenter app to check your kids in from your phone, then scan the QR code on the self-checkin iPad when you arrive.  

When you first register your kiddos, we’ll ask about any food allergies, medical conditions or other special needs. This information print on nametags so volunteers know how keep your kiddo safe and to keep the space accessible. 

In order to help us keep our classrooms safe and open for everyone, please keep kiddos home when they’re sick/contagious (fever, cough, runny nose, upset tummy, pink eye, lice, etc.).  

HAVING FUN AND TEACHING   

Classrooms  

• Nursery (babies and toddlers not yet in preschool) 

• PreSchool (ages 2-4, potty trained, enrolled in preschool) 

• Pre-K/Kindergarten (ages 4-6, enrolled in Pre-K or Kindergarten) 

• Elementary (1st through 5th grade) 

• Middle School (6th -8th grade) 

We follow dynamic, age-appropriate curriculums that teach the Bible using themes, video, hands on activities, discussion and more for kids in PreSchool and older. Kiddos move “up” to new classrooms at the beginning of each school year, when applicable. 

Elementary and Preteen worship with the adults before heading to their classrooms.  PreSchool and PreK/K kiddos worship in their classrooms.
